Team routine
lists must be sent via email or mail with:
Team
Name/Song, Ability Level, Style/Category of routine, Average Age,
Stage or Gym preference, Length of Routine and # of Dancers for
each routine.

Some
categories may be combined according to the amount of entries
received in each style.
Ability:
Teams are divided by ability levels in Beginning,
Intermediate & Advanced. Please be fair and honest in
selecting the ability level of each team.
- Beginning -
Basic turns up to single pirouettes - 1 to 2 years training -
please be sure they are truly beginning dancers.
- Intermediate
- turns up to a double pirouette - attempting fouettes - 2 to 4
years training - basic leaps.
- Advanced -
continous fouettes, triple pirouettes or more - 5 or more years of
training - switch leaps and other advanced leaps.
Age:
Teams are divided by age levels. Please calculate the
average age of each routine!
Size:
Teams are divided by size. A team consists of 5 or more
dancers. Solos, Duets, Trios and Quads compete usually on
Friday (see solo entry).
Divisions:
All divisions are kept small. There will never be more
than 4 to 5 routines in one division. The average is 3
routines per division.
Music:
All music must be recorded on a quality CD. Only ONE
song per CD, labled and checked into the sound table at the time of
check-in. PLEASE HAVE BACK UP MUSIC WITH YOU!!
Registration
Fees: Team fees are $14 per dancer/per dance. Late entries
(by permission only) are $15 per dancer/per dance. You can
register online at www.dancelink.net or by mail.
Entry Deadline
was February 28th for ALL
competitions! All late entries accepted will be $15 per
dancer/per dance. No refunds or credits will be given.
Please register on time or early if possible. We will
only accept a certain number of routines at each competition to
avoid making the competitions a marathon. Please let me know
ASAP which competitions you will be attending and approximately how
many routines you will be competing.
DanceLink and
Utah Dance Championships host family oriented events.
Costumes, choreography and music must be appropriate for all
audiences.
Final
competititon information will be sent via email and posted online
approximately ten days prior to each event date at www.DanceLink.net
