A $5 late fee
has been added to each dancer!!
Categories may
be combined with a similar style category to maitain enough to
compete. This also applies to Duets, Trios and Quads for 2, 3 &
4 dancers.
Divisions:
There are divisions for ages pre-school through college age. If
there are less than 3 contestants they will be combined with
another division. Any division with 6 or more will be divided.
- The Beginning
Division is for dancer who have never won a competition and are
considered beginning dancers (usually 2 years or less
training)
- The
Intermediate Division is for dancers that have won a competition in
the beginning division and are considered intermediate dancers
(usually 2 to 4 years training)
- The Advanced
Divsion is for dancers who have won a competition in the
intermediate division (or more than once) and are considered
advanced dancers (usually 4 or more years training)
Divisions are
determined by the information you provide. Please be honest and
correct with this information. Dancers entering the wrong division
could be disqualified. Check with your teacher or choreographer if
you are unsure what division to enter.
Order of
Performance will be determined by the date of entry. The FIRST
entry received will perform LAST is their division. The LAST entry
received will perform FIRST in their division. This is determined
by the date and time you register online or by the postmark on your
entry.
Awards:
Winners receive a large two column trophy, a gift and a tiara.
Attendants receive a large single colum trophy. All contestants
will place and receive a trophy at all competitions. An Overall
Winner will be awarded by each set of Judges for and Overall Winner
in each lane.
Entry Deadline
is February
28th for ALL competitions! All late entries accepted
will have a $5 late fee penalty added to the regular entry fee for
each dancer. No personal checks will be accepted. No refunds or
credits will be given.
DanceLink and
Utah Dance Championships host family oriented events. Costumes,
choreography and music must be appropriate for all audiences.
Final
competititon information will be sent via email and posted online
approximately ten days prior to each event date at www.DanceLink.net
